methods of competition and unfair or deceptive acts or practices under                              
certain of the state's unfair trade practices and consumer protection                               
laws; and providing for an effective date" was read the second time.                                
                                                                                                    
Senator Ben Stevens moved and asked unanimous consent that the bill                                 
be advanced to third reading and placed on final passage. Senator Ellis                             
objected.                                                                                           
                                                                                                    
President Therriault stated HOUSE BILL NO. 378 will be on the May                                   
6 calendar.
